Collis

Collis is the speciality of our cellar, ageing for 24 months in a 2,500-litre acacia cask. The result is a wine with character, an intense palate and an oily texture. It is a white blend of six varieties — renski and laški rizling, beli and sivi pinot, chardonnay and traminec — each making up a sixth of the whole.

The colour is a deeper golden yellow. The nose is intense and gives away the time in wood. There is yellow apple, slices of pineapple, lemon and clementine peel, yellow rose, lemon balm, cinnamon and vanilla, wrapped in buttery notes, marzipan and caramel. The wine is dry, and on the palate it is oily and full-bodied.
